Grant Description
Grants of up to $500 to USA individual teachers in multiple states for academic projects that will improve student achievement. Priority will be given to proposals that are focused on the environment, energy efficiency, math, technology, and science. Teachers located in Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia may apply. Highly regarded projects will incorporate matching funds, community resources, and interdisciplinary or team-teaching projects.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Teachers of pre-K through Grade 12 who live or teach in the AEP service area or in communities with major AEP facilities may apply.

AEP does not fund stipends or meals.

A limit of one grant may be awarded per teacher per year. Grants may be limited to two per school per year.

Pre-Application Information
In order to be considered for the AEP Teacher Vision Grant, a completed application must be submitted before midnight EST of the third Friday in December. Grants are announced by mid-February.
